Aw, give us a bigger image please, mister!
I cannae, this is someone else's picture. I have got this postcard somewhere, in the overflowing junk room I pathetically think of as my office. I'll dig it out (and the other 50 Butlins postcards) and embiggen it.:D
Blimey, I might have been there the very same year. Maybe '74. The only bit I really remember was playing with my pull-back Straker car, and not being allowed to go on the radio controlled tanks.I found an old advert for Butlins in one of the paperbacks I bought recently, I might scan it in.
Please do. I have some Activity Programmes somewhere. Were you a Beaver?
As in scouts, or some Butlins-related thingy?
I was there. Summer 1978. I remember the chairs, as well. Blimey.- Jb.
Butlins had Beavers, a sort of Hitler Youth for the younger holidaymakers. I was in the Sea Scouts, but that's a whole other story.
I remember the Scalextric room they used to have.
Yes, they also had remote controlled tanks there. It was heaven, I tell ye.
