Made under licence in W. Germany

There's something naggingly familiar about a couple of these, but I just can't quite but my finger on it.

  1. I had these, and loved them, but bizzarely never noticed the obvious ...
Actually you've given me the idea for another post...

  2. Surely Death should have a killing power of 100! Unless there's a way of not getting killed by Death. If you know, please pass on the secret!

  4. Siobhan, it's a reet nightmare I tell thee. Zetan Warlord (who?) and Godzilla drew with Death, but he (or it) was beaten by King Kong (?) and Thor with 97 each. The argument could be made that as a deity Thor could 'Top Trump' Death, but King Kong? He's just a big monkey-man.

The train journeys across country just fly by.

  8. I had these too... bought from a car boot sale presumably in the late 1980s when I was in infant school. They did indeed while away some time - not least debating whether the points were always justified! The 'Venusian Death Cell' is odd (whatever that is!? Is it the setting, or the rather Sea Devil-like creature within).

  9. "Circus Of Death? The Human League! "

Indeed, and look its a picture of a clown -
"The narcotic that forges their union is a substance known only to one/to the clown it is known as dominion/its a secret that he'll give to none"
surely this was the inspiration for the song? afterall, even the group's name was appropriated from a board game..?
