Orange and white covered penguins have been popping up in almost every bookshop lately. The top image is the cover of one of these. Penguin's stance is that "Reading habits have changed since 1935, but Penguin still believes in publishing the best books for everyone to enjoy, and that quality books published passionately and responsibly make the world a better place." Hence, the nostalgic marketing campaign.
The Jean Rhys cover in the second image is from a 1971 edition of the book.
