I love the work of Paul Nash: he's probably my favourite British painter. Some of his work, like 'We Are Making A New World', and 'Equivalents For the Megaliths' is simply astonishing.
This is 'Mansions Of The Dead', a pencil and watercolour study he completed in 1932, which always reminds me of my favourite British film, 'A Matter Of Life & Death' (1946).

He's my fave too. We should get married. x
ReplyDeleteLet's live together first, it's what all the kids do nowadays. Then, if we can still tolerate each other after a week or so, we can have a baby.
ReplyDeleteJust found out about Nash rather recently. Amazing, unique work.
ReplyDeleteDavid, does this mean no more shopping trips to Macy's?
