It's official!

According to our latest unerringly accurate poll, the 1970's, era of clackers, strikes and Mike Yarwood, reigns supreme in the hauntological stakes with 57% of the 108 voters deciding to click that particular button. Special mention goes to runner up 'now', with 16% of the vote, presumably because of the notion that the hauntological can only really be judged through the crazy prism of the present.

Suggestions for the next poll will be pounced upon in the absence of any other firm ideas whatsoever. It might be interesting to see what time period posters and viewers grew up in, for instance, although the above result may well have answered that question already.

  8. It's democracy in action, MP. If you remember correctly Norfolk wasn't the most hauntological county, so not sure the point you're trying to make. Is there a right answer to these polls? Or are they just there to gauge opinion? Should we have a poll on it?

  9. "It's Norfolk all over again" as in, I wanted Norfolk to win, but it didn't win. I'm very opinionated, so I struggle with the concept of democracy. Oh well, I'm off to sing on the radio now, and talk about Hauntology. GlossFM 87.7FM.

  10. Oh, I see. Why not start your own poll and skew the answers to get the result you want? Good luck with the interview: remember to tell 'em about the most hauntological era and about Norfolk. :D
