Man After Man

"The five engineered forms do not perceive each other as members of the same species…"

The nightmare future of Dougal Dixon's Man After Man is summarised at the Monster Brains blog.

I was immediately reminded of the mutation of humans in Brian Aldiss's Enemies of the System, so it seems fitting that Aldiss wrote the foreword to Man After Man. The book is out of print but has been republished on the Web.
