Premonitions Following an Evil Deed
David Lynch's contribution to Lumière and Company, a 1995 collaboration between 40 international directors in which each was asked to make a short film using the original Cinematographe invented by the Lumière Brothers and working under conditions similar to those of 1895.
There were three rules:
1. The film could be no longer than 52 seconds (edited in-camera)
2. No synchronized sound was permitted
3. No more than three takes.

Gregory, that's amazing. Felt more like 53s though...
ReplyDeleteThe genius of David Lynch! His other shorts are outstanding, the alphabet one in particular really moves me.
