Transmissions From The Twilight Zone

Episode 123: 'Nightmare At 20,000 Feet'. Six months ago, salesman Bob Wilson had a nervous breakdown. Now he's flying home from the sanitarium with his long-suffering wife, completely cured. But what's that? What's that outside? On the wing? No, he must be imagining it, surely. He's tired. He's been sick. Maybe he should take just - one - more - look...

One of the most famous of all 'Twilight Zone' episodes, and one of the best, the creature is played by Nick Cravat, the little bearded acrobat fellow who used to play mutes in Burt Lancaster films (they'd been in the circus together). Bob Wilson is, as you know, played by William Shatner, who, in the tradition of Garrick and Kean and Todd Slaughter and Laurence Olivier is, in my humble opinion, a truly great actor.
