Good call. The Pierrot and Commedia dell Arte clowns are always scary.
ReplyDeleteI read Alain-Fournier's book as a result of seeing the film - both are highly recommended. The scene where he has to carry the body down the stairs in his arms because they are too winding for a coffin is gut-wrenchingly emotional.
