Frank Reidy & Eric Allen - Forest of Evil

The latest edition of THE WIRE came out on digital today and it seems to be rather heavy on the hauntological themes. I won't go into too much detail, but there's a review of the Belbury Youth Club at Brighton, as well as a piece on Simon Reynold's new book about the plundering of our modern musical past, "Retromania"

But the real interesting feature is Demdike Stare on this months Invisible Jukebox, interviewed by Joseph Stannard (aka The Outer Church). One of the records mentioned was "Forest of Evil" by Frank Reidy and Eric Allen, which was released in 1978 on De Wolfe music, and is a truly haunting piece of library music.

Although i personally prefer Volume 2, which came out in 1981...
