With Patons what could you not knit????? I am in the process of knitting a new house and car.
My nan knitted smoke.
I inherited one of those Humpty Dumpty's as a child. I remember it had weird cardboard leathery hands and sat malevolently in the corner of my bedroom. It got used as a football quite frequently when it psyched me out to much. Then one day it was gone. To say I was relieved would be an understatement. Like the dummy in the film 'Magic', it exuded an unhealthy air of menace. Maybe it's still hunting some poor infants bedroom somewhere, but let's hope not.
A smoke knitter!!!!!!! they were part of the Pattons elite. My nan could only dream of knitting smoke.
