'Tricorn: Controversy in Concrete'
An exhibition celebrating Portsmouth's Tricorn Centre. Designed by Owen Luder & Rodney Gorden, built in 1966, demolished 2004.
On until 29th June at Portsmouth City Museum.
Best bits: one of the actual slit windows, a selection of original architectural drawings, a tasty watercolour by Gordon Cullen and - behind glass, annoyingly - a bunch of photos taken during the construction. The ones that are visible are fantastic; I would commit murder to get a good look at the rest.
Interesting discovery: before the Central Library was built, they planned to stick it in the Tricorn.
